Ingredients
  

  • cup Spring onion flower (chopped)
  • 2 tsp Oil
  • ¼ tsp Mustard seeds
  • ¼ tsp Jeera
  • Curry leaves (few)
  • ½ tsp Red chilly powder
  • ¼ tsp Turmeric powder
  • ¼ tsp Jeera powder
  • Salt (as needed)
  • ½ cup Coconut

Instructions

  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Add mustard seeds, jeera and curry leaves and saute well.
  • Add chopped spring onions and saute for a few minutes.
  • Cover and cook on a low flame until spring onions cooked well.
  • Add red chilly powder, Turmeric powder, jeera powder and salt mix well and saute for a few minutes.
  • In a mixer, add coconut and grind it coarsely.
  • Add this coarsely grinded coconut to sauteed spring onion and stir well.
  • Tasty spring onion stir fry / vengaya poo poriyal is ready to serve.
