For this coconutΒ beetroot ladoo, cook desiccated coconut/ coconut powder / fresh coconut and beetroot in milk and add sugar for sweetness. Add cardamom powder and chopped nuts mix together and make delicious ladoos. NormallyΒ coconut ladduΒ is prepared with condensed milk. Here we donβt use condensed milk. - 1 cup Beetroot (finely grated)
- 1 cup Desiccated coconut
- ΒΎ cup Sugar
- 1Β½ cup Milk
- ΒΌ cup Ghee
- 1 tsp Cardamom powder
- 10 Cashewnut
Instructions
- Heat ghee in a pan.
- Add cashew nuts and roasted it well. Take it out and keep it aside.
- Add grated beetroot and desiccated coconut saute for a few minutes.
- Add 1 Β½ cup of milk and cook for a few minutes.
- After a few minutes, milk evaporates and the beetroot mixture starts to thicken.
- Add ΒΎ cup sugar and mix well.
- After a few minutes, the sugar dissolves and it turns watery.
- Stir well and cook this for a few minutes. After a few minutes, it starts to thicken.
- Finally, add roasted cashew nuts and cardamom powder mix well.
- Allow this mixture to cool.
- Once cooled well, take a small portion out of this mixture and shape it as a laddu.
- Roll the laddu into the desiccated coconut.
- Delicious coconut Beetroot laddu is ready to melt in the mouth.

1.You can increase or decrease the quantity of sugar as per your taste.
